Do you want to go out for a few days away from all the hustle and bustle? Do you work in the area temporarily? Do you want to stay close to Antwerp and still enjoy the peace and quiet in the vast nature of the Waasland where you can walk & cycle?
We would like to let you enjoy this blissful place. You wake up in peace, with a beautiful view of the greenery. You can even see the tower of the Antwerp Cathedral of Our Lady in the distance.
Our barn was renovated into a luxurious holiday home in 2019.

Nice weather? Enjoy the garden. Take a seat on the terrace at the table or in the outdoor lounge. Settle into the hammock or on the deck chairs. The gas BBQ is also ready.

From real rabbits, fun toys to a baby bed, high chair & buggy. You just have to ask.
Business stay
We also have all the amenities for a short or longer business stay. You can work here in peace, a stone's throw from the port of Antwerp.

Antwerp is a wonderful mix of past and present. It is a contemporary, vibrant city with many well-preserved monuments, buildings and art treasures. The Antwerp Eilandje was recently voted one of the hippest neighborhoods in Europe.
Smoutpot 29 is only 15 minutes away by car from Antwerp. You wish to avoid traffic jams. The tram, 1 km, will take you to the heart of Antwerp in 15 minutes. The water bus, bicycle bridge or shuttle bus will take you to the Port of Antwerp. (Electric) bicycles can be rented.
Cyclists and hikers can also indulge themselves here. The Waasland is a beautiful region between Ghent, Antwerp and Zeeuws-Vlaanderen with forests, polders, cities and villages. Follow varied cycling routes along the Scheldt, Durme and Moervaart, past mysterious forts, mills and castles. Or put on your walking shoes for a trip through polders and forests.
